This book cover is for a Folio to Feature book series with books that have been adapted into films. The Hunt for Red October by Tom Clancy is one book within the series. For the front cover, I chose to focus on a bulkhead of the Red October with an additional hammer and sickle to distinguish its KGB origin. The idea behind this was to use the symbolism of doors as a gateway in certain stories.
